What is it like for you to manage time, balance the demands of work and family life as well as maintain a challenging professional role?
How do you do it all? Is it possible to create work/life balance or is that some kind of vague fantasy?
Becoming a parent is certainly a life changing experience. It is often filled with both joy and challenge and for many it is a time of clarifying what is important. Landing back in the workplace is a transition that adds another layer of challenge. Surviving the transition and flourishing in the workplace is a further challenge, and we aim to make that possible!
Our research and individual coaching with women returning to work highlights some of the important issues that women face in the workplace. There are many common themes that women talk about at both an individual and an organisational level. Our research shows that women in the workplace want transparent support from their employer as well as coaching, flexibility and clear career goals to ensure they are on the right path.
Our priority is to discover what is most important for you, your goals and the vision you have for creating a lifestyle that has meaning and purpose. We look at how work and life fit together and we focus on your priorities.
What do we do? The short story is – we coach.
We work with women to address some of the challenges that inevitably arise when returning to work and as a mother in the workplace. Coaching is a partnership based on principles of facilitation and empowerment, we ask a lot of questions and you are the expert in your own life! We draw on principles of positive psychology, Neuro-linguistic programming and current coaching models to ensure our work is based on best practice approaches in both the psychology and coaching fields.
